Inspiration is not something that is always there. Sometimes we simply lack that drive to push us each day. By finding a ritual, that acts as my cheerleader ( to motivate me each day), I have created something that not only inspires me, but also gives me a sense of something to look forward to each day.
I only hope that you may also find some use of implementing these actions into your daily life.
#1. Positive Affirmations
Affirmations in New Thought and New Age terminology refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment—fostering a belief that "a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything."
By incorporating these positive sayings each day and believing them to be true, you are activating the Law of Attraction. Which means you are giving instructions to the Universe on how you want to be blessed.
A spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.
Incorporating yoga each day not only strengthens your body, but, it also strengthens and adds control over your entire Being. Learn to bend, so you don't break.
#3. Properly Hydrate Yourself
One of the best things you can do after you wake up: drink at least 16oz (500mL) of water. Water fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins, gives your brain fuel, and may even make you eat less.
Drinking water immediately upon rising gently awakened my internal system to get things flowing effectively for my overall wellbeing.
I always begin with 16 oz of spring water and 1/2 of a squeezed lime before I even get out of bed. I find that preparing this the night before and placing it beside my bed, keeps me most accountable.
Journal therapy is a type of writing therapy that focuses on the writer's internal experiences, thoughts and feelings. Journal therapy uses reflective writing so that the writer can receive mental and emotional clarity, validate experiences and come to a deeper understanding of themselves.
So many of us house our internal pains for so long that we often mistake their appearances as being "just the way we are" We have the power to be whatever and whomever we want, so don't allow those toxic imprints to force you to stay in that box any longer. Begin regaining your power by identifying with the internal wars you fight.
When fighting them for so long, we oftentimes don't realize that we are. However, when you sit to journal they can no longer hide from you. You will then identify them, face them and effectively release them.
#5. Watching Inspirational Youtube Videos
I have had days where I felt completely burnt out and overwhelmed. I would turn on youtube and go to my favorite videos and buy the end of one video, I would be renewed again.
Watching these videos are extremely beneficial because they allow you to wash away the fears and the somewhat toxic images we so often see on television. These motivational videos are channeling in positivity and ushering out the negativity and fears. Watching these daily has such a positive effect on your life and it's convenient, free and can be completed in a matter of minutes. However, if you prefer, you can also watch multiple ones for hours on end if necessary.
