Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life.

"The best thing about the past is that it's over. The best thing about the future is that it's yet to come. The best thing about the present is that it's here now." - Richard Bandle
We have all endured our fair share of hardships and pain. Adversely, we have all experienced our share of joy and happyness. ( I prefer to accentuate (happy) in the word happiness, hence the spelling) As, that is how life works, the pendulum of life WILL ALWAYS SWING BOTH WAYS. Life is meant for us to grow through it, yet oftentimes, we only go through it. Perspective plays a key role in this. How you choose to look at things greatly affects your relationship with them.
Take for instance, a glass that has liquid only consuming half of its capacity. To one person the glass may be seen as half empty, to another, half full. Though both individuals are correct in their thinking, one will reap the greater rewards for his point of view. Seeing the glass as half empty, brings about the low vibrational energy of hopelessness, doom, sadness and defeat. While, seeing the glass half full allows one to exercise optimism, give hope, and create opportunities where there may appear to be none. You see, Once you change your negative thoughts with positive ones, your life becomes a positive experience.
"Once You Change Your Negative Thoughts With Positive Ones, Your Life Becomes A Positive Experience."
We all know that individual that never chooses to see the good in anything. The one that is always criticizing everything and speaking negatively over their lives. Pay attention to how it seems everything "goes wrong" in their world. Then, think about people such as Oprah, Will Smith and even the person you might have grown up with that is now very successful. The things that they all have in common is there belief system. They choose to see the glass half full and believe that they are the Co-Creators of their realities. Now, does that mean that they have it all figured out and nothing ever goes wrong in their lives? Absolutely not! However, it is their state of mind that carries them through and catapults them to greater heights.
I can admit I use to be very pessimistic and had to re-program my mind from all of the garbage that was dumped into me subconsciously over my years. It has been a long journey to undo those things, but the journey has been well worth it. I perform lots of brain entrainment exercises, positive reads and affirmations, along with yoga and meditation and I am very mindful of the company I keep and the things I consume. Consumption of food is not just physical food, my spiritual, mental and emotional foods are of equal importance as well.
One of the books that I accredit to my growth and development is E-Squared by Pam Grout.
When I read this book for the first time I was awakened to the fact that my thoughts and actions determined my situations. I never realized I had that much power, I mean, I knew I would think something and it would happen, or I would say something and it would come true. Yet, I never knew I had as much power as I do, until I began to align myself with the information that opened my mind and spirit to this truth. I highly recommend you read this book if you are on a journey to learning the power that your mind holds.
Remember, your thoughts and actions create your reality, you have the power to create the life you desire and your subconscious mind is the portal of life or death. Which of these is dependent upon how you choose to use your mind. It is meant to be your servant, not your master. If you are not content with where you are mentally, take time to elevate your mind and spirit to match your dreams with your reality.
