Simple Foot Detox To Eliminate Toxins From The Body

One of the most important elements in regards to mind, body and soul health & healing, is the elimination of toxins in both the physical and spirit bodies. 

One of the simplest and most relaxing ways to detox is with a nice herbal foot soak. 

Why a foot soak you might ask?  

The feet house inner-gy points that allows them to flush out toxins from the body.  When these inner-gy points are stimulated, it activates the flow of qi (life force inner-gy), which flows through the important organs responsible for detoxification (liver, kidneys, lungs, colon and skin) 



*Peppermint Essential Oil

*Epsom Salt 

*Coconut Oil

*Lemon Juice

*Lemongrass Essential Oil

*Large Bowl of Warm Water


Gather your supplies, ensuring your bowl of warm water is large enough to submerge both feet in at the same time.  Make certain your warm water is closer to hot than cold. The warmer the better, however, please be careful not to burn yourself. Only have the temperature of the water where you can comfortably stand it. 

Add 6 drops each of the peppermint and lemongrass essential oils.  3 Tablespoons of Epsom Salt.  Any type of pure Epsom Salt is acceptable. However, I prefer the Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt Soaking Solution Eucalyptus Spearmint. Add 1 freshly squeezed lemon and 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil. 

Combine all of the ingredients together within the water, mixing it all very well. Simply soak your feet and relax. 

I like to add binaural beats or sound meditations with a 528 hz (DNA repair, added health and longevity) and visualizations of the toxins leaving my physical body. 

Soak for 20 minutes and then wash your feet with fresh warm water when done. 

An optional step at this point would be to massage your feet with some coconut oil combined with either peppermint essential oil or tea tree oil. This not only moisturizes your feet, but keeps the blood circulating for continued detoxification.
